Rapper Soulja Boy wants DNA test before paying child support

Rapper Soulja Boy is reportedly asking for a DNA test after being sued for child support.

Jackilyn Martinez claims in a lawsuit filed late last year that the “Crank That” performer is the father or her 3-year-old son, KeAndre Cortez Way, according to TMZ.

She said she was sometimes sent money when she “begged” the 35-year-old rapper, born DeAndre Cortez Way, for help. Martinez said Soulja Boy told her in an email that he wouldn’t settle with and there would be no litigation.

“Stop emailing me, you dumb bitch,” he reportedly wrote in a message seen by a California court.

Martinez wants custody of her son, but is reportedly open to granting visitation rights to the man she says is the child’s father.

Soulja Boy reportedly acknowledged paternity in a 2022 social media post that no longer appears to be active.

It reads, “Lil Soulja daddy love u,” according to BET.

That message was said to have included a photo of the rapper holding a newborn.

Soulja Boy wrote on Instagram Thursday that he’ll be celebrating his birthday weekend with a concert in San Diego on Friday followed by a party in Miami. TMZ said Martinez unsuccessfully attempted to serve the Chicago native with court papers during one of his performances.

She was granted a $123,000 default judgment against rapper Blueface in April after that rapper claimed he might be her baby’s dad, according to Fox 11. Martinez told a judge she was last intimate with the defendant in 2018. She alleged that his defamatory claims caused her “emotional and mental distress.”
