Rosie O’Donnell gained a country and lost nearly 60 lbs. on her way to wellness.

The “A League of Their Own” star, who moved to Ireland after her nemesis Donald Trump took office in 2025, credits Mounjaro for her improved health.

She boasted about her new look in an Instagram post that included a Women.com article claiming her “‘Mounjaro face’ transformation is undeniable.” That story suggested O’Donnell appears thinner, 64, but also looks older due to side effects some people report from drugs that lead to rapid weight loss.

O’Donnell, who posted about using Mounjaro in May 2025, said Monday that she treats her type 2 diabetes with the injectable.

“I have lost 56 lbs. in just over 3 years — im thankful for my improved health,” she wrote on Instagram.

Monjaro says on its website that its prescription product is meant to improve blood and sugar levels for diabetics. It wasn’t designed to be a weight-loss drug per se, though the site says that people who use it often drop drop between 12 and 25 pounds.

O’Donnell supporters overwhelmingly came to her defense on Instagram. The Commack native was assured that she looks great and reminded that good health is what matters most.

She and her child Clay fled the United States for Ireland after Trump came to power for the second time in January 2025. O’Donnell and the President have been in a nasty feud that dates back 20 years, according to Variety. He famously likened her to “fat pigs” in a 2015 presidential debate.

She said in a May 2025 TikTok video that the overseas move was paying dividends.

“I feel healthier and I’m sleeping better without the stress and anxiety over what was happening politically in the country and being singled out by he President of the United States,” she stated.

O’Donnell also told fans she had to shop for clothes after dropping from a size 2XL to a large after settling down in the Dublin area.
