Dallas police said Wednesday that they have arrested a 29- year old suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred in the Casa View neighborhood in East Dallas.
Officers arrived about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday to the 2800 block of Peavy Road, where police say they found an individual suffering from stab wounds. Police say the individual, whom they did not identify, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined that the suspect and the victim knew each other, police said.
Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The victim’s name had not been released as of Wednesday morning.
The suspect was taken into custody at the scene and charged with murder, police said.
