Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have donated $26 million to charities across the country — including several in New York City — ahead of their wedding, which is reportedly set to unfold at Madison Square Garden this weekend.
With the power couple rumored to be tying the knot in the city, it only makes sense that Swift and Kelce would send their funds to multiple charitable organizations in the area. That includes City Harvest, a New York-based non-profit at the heart of the “food rescue movement,” according to its website. It is dedicated to saving “perfectly good, nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste,” then providing it for free to New Yorkers “experiencing hunger.”
Food Bank For NYC, similarly established to aid hungry residents, and New York Cares, the largest volunteer organization in the city, were also among those to receive donations.
In total, Swift and Kelce gave to 20 organizations, among them nine food banks, an animal cruelty organization, seven educational programs and three children’s hospitals. Other recipients include Education Through Music, Answer the Call, Musical Mentors, After-School All-Stars — in both New York and Cleveland — Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Kids, Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone and Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
The couple also donated to Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Harvesters in Kansas City, Brad Paisley and Kimberly Paisley’s The Store in Nashville, Helping Harvest in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Feeding America, ASPCA, Grammy in the Schools and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
The 14-time Grammy winner was first romantically linked with Kelce back in 2023, after the Kansas City Chiefs star revealed he tried to give Swift his number via friendship bracelet during a stop on her Eras Tour. Nearly two years later, the couple announced their engagement on Instagram.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they wrote in an August 2025 post.
While neither Swift nor Kelce have shared specifics about their big day, rumors have been swirling about the venue and the date since their announcemnt. Most reports suggest the couple are going to trade vows in Madison Square Garden on Friday, and a city official recently confirmed to the Daily News that an event company had filed a permit to close the streets around the venue from Thursday to midday Saturday.
