
A 15-year-old boy was slashed in the face and neck inside a Bronx high school on Monday, cops said.
The victim was attacked as he walked to class at William Taft High School in Morrisania around 12:15 p.m., according to police.
The teen was wounded on the side of his neck and forehead at the school located on E. 172nd St. near Sheridan Ave., officials said.
Medics rushed him to Harlem Hospital, where he’s expected to survive.
A 15-year-old boy, who also attends the high school was arrested at the scene and charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment. His name is being withheld due to his age.
“There is absolutely no place for weapons of any kind in our schools,” a Department of Education spokesperson said. “The incident was quickly addressed by our school staff, who worked in lockstep with our partners from the NYPD/SSD. We will be providing additional support to the school community in the coming days.”
