Moments after the Academy Awards wrapped on Sunday evening, a security guard allegedly pushed Teyana Taylor as she tried to rejoin her “One Battle After Another” co-stars onstage.

The 35-year-old Best Supporting Actress nominee and Warner Bros. co-chair and CEO Pamela Abdy were trying to ascend the stairs to the stage when the guard shoved her back, Taylor was heard saying on a bystander’s video of the tense confrontation.

“You put your hands on a female,” she could be seen chastising someone who was out of the frame, wagging her finger and repeating several times, “You’re very rude.”

She told a cluster of people around her that the guard had shoved her and came close to shoving Abdy.

“He put his hands on a female,” she said. “He shoved me. He literally shoved me.”

“Shocking,” another voice could be heard saying.

Taylor was attempting to join her castmates onstage after the 2025 movie won Best Picture, one of six awards bestowed on the dark comedy-action film, when the guard allegedly accosted her and Abdy, reported TMZ.

Sources told TMZ that the guard blocked Taylor with his body and put his hands on her as he physically held her back from the stage. He didn’t let up even as Taylor called him out, TMZ reported, and even asked the actress and singer to apologize.

Taylor had not commented publicly on Monday morning.
