Tobey Maguire officiated his ex-wife’s wedding on Saturday, just weeks after their own divorce became final, according to reports.
The “Spiderman” actor pronounced Jennifer Meyer and billionaire heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi husband and wife before a coterie of A-listers that included the likes of Courteney Cox, Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, Kate Hudson and fiancé Danny Fujikawa, and a host of celebrities.
Ogunlesi’s father is Nigerian billionaire lawyer and investment banker Adebayo Ogunlesi. Fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos and wife Lauren Sanchez Bezos were also on hand at Hawaii’s Four Seasons Resort Lanai.
All three of Meyer’s children were there, including the 4-month-old girl she and Ogunlesi welcomed in June. Her children with Maguire, 19-year-old Ruby Sweetheart and Otis Tobias, 17, had roles in the ceremony, according to TMZ.
While the Maguire-Meyer divorce was recent, it was actually a decade in the making. Maguire and Meyer announced they were splitting up in 2016 after nine years of marriage, and it wasn’t until 2020 that Meyer officially filed for divorce. Maguire responded five years later with a request for joint custody of Otis in 2025.
Last month, the couple appeared close to officially dissolving the marriage itself while agreeing to mediation with a private judge on other outstanding issues. Their divorce became final on Sept. 21, People reported, leaving the exes free to wed.
Throughout, Meyer has spoken highly of the now ex-couple’s bond when it came to co-parenting their children and even said Ogunlesi and Macguire get along famously.
Meyer and Ogunlesi, the CEO and co-founder of music and entertainment management company The Ogunlesi Group, debuted as a couple in 2023 and got engaged in August 2024. Meyer is a well-known jewelry designer, with many stars among her clientele.
