The Chosen is filming its seventh season in North Texas this summer, and it might choose you for a spot on set.
The hit show following the life of Jesus Christ is filming its final season at Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian, which has been the center of the action since Season 3. It is located about 30 minutes south of Dallas.
Brock Allen Casting posted a call for extras on Facebook Thursday. The show is looking for men to play members of the Sanhedrin, the Jewish legislative assembly that oversaw the trial of Christ and confronted his followers after the Resurrection.
Men between ages 40 and 70 with olive skin tones, no modern haircuts and no tattoos are asked to apply. Beards are preferred. The positions are only open to Texas residents.
The shoot will take place Aug. 5 in Midlothian. Extras will be paid $100 for 10 hours.
Brock Allen Casting has previously sought Texans for other Season 7 roles, including stand-ins for principal actors and extra positions like “athletic man” and “new citizen.”
Season 7 will focus on the Resurrection and is expected to premiere in theaters on March 31, 2028. Season 6, which portrays the Crucifixion, will be released on Prime Video starting on Nov. 15, 2026.
Seasons 1 through 5 are available to stream on Prime.
