Police allege that Ae Son Han was present and aided Seung Ho Han, 69, with the second killing, according to a statement.

Ae Son Han was located in Minnesota, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s Service, and arrested on a murder charge. As of Monday night, Carrollton police are working to have her extradited back to Texas, the statement said. It was not clear if she has an attorney.

Carrollton police were initially dispatched about 9:57 a.m. on May 5 after receiving reports of a shooting from witnesses.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Han had met Young Yoo, Olivia Kim, Yo Sung Kim and Sung Rae Cho at the Gwangjang Korean Market for what they believed was a business meeting.

Once there, Han shot Yoo, Olivia Kim and Yo Sung Kim near the front of the market in the 4000 block of State Highway 121 before striking Cho as he tried to escape.

Cho was pronounced dead at the scene, the affidavit said. Olivia Kim, Yo Sung Kim and Yoo were taken to hospitals, where police said they were stable.

Police were notified at 11:13 a.m. of a second shooting in the 2700 block of Old Denton Road, about four miles from the plaza. Responding officers found Edward Schleigh dead in his apartment.

Officers then found Han’s car in the parking lot of H Mart at 2625 Old Denton Road, and shortly after 12 p.m., he was taken into custody while leaving the grocery store.

Han was taken to an interview room at the Carrollton Police Department, where he waived his rights, agreed to talk and confessed to shooting all five people, authorities previously said.

Han was later booked into the Denton County jail, where he faces two charges of capital murder and three charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

No further details on the ongoing investigation or Ae Son Han’s arrest were immediately available.
