A 47-year-old woman was shot to death inside her Harlem apartment building Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Basilisa Negron died at the scene after being shot shot three times in the body inside her building on W. 141st St. near Malcolm X. Blvd. about 1 p.m., cops said.
“I’m shocked. It’s surprising, nothing really happens on this block,” said a man who lives on the block who declined to give his name. “It’s a very good block. It’s quiet over here.”
There were no immediate arrests.
