A 24-year-old man shot in the head multiple times died after an attack on a Bronx streetcorner Sunday night, police said.
Police officers responding to a 911 call about an assault found the wounded man at the corner of W. 174th St. and Popham Ave. in Morris Heights at 8 p.m., cops said.
He was rushed to BronxCare Health Center in critical condition. He died at the hospital.
Police are investigating, and there were no immediate arrests. The man’s identity is being withheld until his family has been notified.
