Rapper, actor and entrepreneur Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is producing a scripted series about Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann.
The 62-year-old architectural consultant pleaded guilty to killing eight women between 1993 and 2010 in April. Some of his victims remains were found along the Long Island shore in 2010 and 2011.
Peacock, with Jackson’s help, is developing a scripted show based on the murders, Jackson’s representative told the Daily News.
Variety said the series is based on Peacock’s “The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets” docuseries, which Jackson executive produced.

It’s reportedly being written by Jordan Hawley, whose credits include “Mad TV” and “Smallville.”
Variety said the show’s tagline sets the stage for a dramatic true-crime program.
“For 30 years, the Long Island serial killer hunted in the shadows of suburbia — evading law enforcement by living an unremarkable double life. When detectives finally crack the case, his devoted wife and children are forced to confront the man they thought they knew, now revealed as a sadistic killer,” the line reads.

Heuermann’s ex-wife reportedly said on last week’s episode of “The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets” that she sleeps in the “kill room,” where her husband is accused of dismembering three of the seven women he brought to his suburban home.
“I am trying to say spiritually, in my own way, that I am really sorry for what these victims went through,” Asa Ellerup explained, according to E! News.
She said that room has been completely renovated. Ellerup claims she’s seen her Heuermann a dozen times since he confessed to being a killer and still doesn’t understand his reasoning.
