Comedian Russell Brand confessed to having sex with a 16-year-old partner when he was 30.

The outspoken entertainer — whose pushing a new book called “How to Become a Christian in 7 Days” — said in an interview that aired Wednesday that he had bedded a girl nearly half his age.

“I did sleep with a 16-year-old when I was 30, but when I was 30, I was a very different person,” he said on a clip from “The Megyn Kelly Show” posted by TMZ. “I was a lot younger and I was an immature 30-year-old.”

Brand told Kelly the age of consent is 16 in the United Kingdom, where the sex act apparently occurred 20 years ago.

The 50-year-old comic, who was once married to pop star Katy Perry, also joked about an upcoming criminal trial he faces in England.

He’s charged with two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault against four women between 1999 and 2005. Similar charges were later made against him alleging sexual misconduct in 2009. The English native denies all of the allegations against him. He’s expected to go on trial in June, according to NBC.

Brand said even though his sexual encounter with a 16-year-old was consensual, he now sees why it may have been “exploitative.”

At the time, the “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star said he was a popular young actor who had an easy time attracting women and didn’t’ give it a lot of thought.

“I recognize my sexual conduct in the past was selfish and I didn’t apply enough consideration, barely any I suppose, to how that sex was affecting other people,” Brand confessed during the Wednesday’s broadcast.

Kelly indicated she doesn’t think Brand will get a fair trial in London. The former Fox News host asked her guest if he was concerned about being imprisoned.

“It’s my strong preference to not go to jail!” he replied in a separate clip of that interview posted on YouTube.
