Insomniac’s Countdown NYE will return to Southern California this year with an expanded format.

The New Year’s Eve electronic music festival is scheduled for Dec. 31, 2026 and Jan. 1, 2027 at the NOS Event Center, marking the first time since 2023 that the event will span two days.

Pre-sale registration is now open at countdownnye.com. Registered fans will receive an access code allowing them to purchase tickets beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, one hour before the general on-sale.

The festival is expected to feature more than 75 artists across five covered stages, with a full lineup to be announced at a later date. Organizers say the event will once again lean into its signature alien-themed production, with immersive stage design and interactive elements throughout the grounds.

Returning attractions will include carnival rides, the Galaxy Mall and the Redlight District, along with official on-site afterparties scheduled to run from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. each night. Countdown NYE has become one of Southern California’s largest electronic music events to ring in the new year, with past editions featuring artists such as Above & Beyond, Alesso, Chris Lake, John Summit, Marshmello and Zeds Dead.

Tickets for the general public go on sale at noon April 30, with GA, GA+ and VIP passes available. Payment plans will be offered with a $5 deposit for a limited time.

With its expanded two-day format and large-scale production, Countdown NYE is expected to once again draw thousands of attendees to San Bernardino for a late-night celebration to close out the year.
