A person died, and another was critically injured after a Saturday afternoon shooting in Dallas’ east Oak Cliff, police said in a statement.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3900 block of Linfield Drive about 2:09 p.m.
Investigators determined two individuals, who weren’t publicly identified, had been shot at the location. One died at the scene and the other was transported to the hospital in critical condition by Dallas Fire-Rescue, the statement said.
Police said no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
Police said there is no indication that the shootings are connected at this time.
