A Plano elementary school teacher was arrested Wednesday after a student reported inappropriate physical contact at Brinker Elementary School, police said.
Paul Campbell, 64, of Dallas, was arrested on a warrant charging him with continuous sexual abuse of a child, according to a Plano Police Department news release. Campbell was serving as a teacher at the Plano ISD campus when the alleged contact occurred, police said.
Detectives obtained the warrant after investigating the student’s report, police said. Campbell was being held Wednesday in the Plano City jail, according to police.
The case remains under investigation by the department’s Special Victims Unit.
