A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with the driver of a 2018 Subaru Outback in the Bronx early Thursday morning, cops said.
Douglas Smith, 45, was riding his 2007 Honda motorcycle at a high rate of speed, heading north on Broadway in North Riverdale, when he struck a Subaru heading the same direction as the car driver turned left onto W. 261st St. from the right lane around 1 a.m., police said.
Smith, who was riding in the left lane, was ejected from the bike and hit the pavement, suffering severe injuries, according to police.
Medics rushed him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died.
Smith lived in Yonkers.
The 30-year-old Subaru driver remained on the scene. There were no arrests.
