A Bronx stabbing victim’s frantic fiancee made the 911 call that led to cops to his apartment to find his body, police sources said.
Cops found Christopher Osbourne, a 37-year-old musician who preformed under the name “1zon3 DFA,” knifed in the chest, back, left arm and left hand inside his Belmont apartment on Adams Place near E. 182nd St. about 2:45 p.m. Thursday. No arrests have been made.
On Facebook, his fiancee, Shawna Titus, posted about the harrowing days leading up to the grim discovery.
“I looked for him for 3 days called hospitals called (precincts) i knew something wasn’t right,” she wrote on Friday. “It’s like he was telling me don’t wait keep looking.”
“I knew he would never just disappear on me,” she added. “Omg y’all to get them to open that door and to see my luv like that killed my soul I’m never gonna be ok promise you gonna get justice.”
Titus thanked the attendees of a Friday night candlelight memorial for Osbourne.
“I appreciate all of you that came out tonight,” she wrote on Facebook. “Just give me time to adjust I’m still processing and I know it’s going to be challenging.”
She has gone from planning a wedding to planning a funeral.
“Soon I will be trying to put something together for 1zon3,” she wrote. “I just don’t know how or where to start.”

Earlier this year, Osbourne spoke optimistically about his music in an interview on the street outside the “Running Cool” restaurant in the Bronx.
“What may I bring to the game, bro? Are those vibes, enjoyment, always uplifting?” he said. “You can find me on every platform… Look out for the next thing I’m going to drop.”
His friends also took to social media to mourn him over the weekend.
“I refuse to believe a true life of the party is gone,” one friend wrote on Facebook. “You’ll always be missed and never forgotten.”
His killing marks the fourth slaying in the Bronx’s 48th Precinct, which has seen a 75% drop in homicides this year. The precinct saw 13 slayings in all of 2025, according to NYPD statistics.
Murders are down overall in the city by more than 21%, with 198 slayings through Sept. 27 compared to 252 in the same timeframe last year. But more than a third of this year’s slayings, 74 in total, took place in the Bronx.
Earlier this year, the NYPD split the Bronx into two distinct NYPD patrol commands, a restructuring many hope will help fight disproportionately high crime rates in the borough.
An additional 200 officers were slated to be assigned to the Bronx as it was divided into separate North and South borough commands in May. Patrol boroughs are commands that oversee local police precinct operations. Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens have long had two borough commands.
