
A 68-year-old man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run collision in Brooklyn, cops announced on Friday.
The victim was crossing Linden Blvd. in East New York on foot when an unidentified vehicle heading east on Ashford St. slammed into him around 12:58 a.m. Thursday, cops said.
The man was in the crosswalk and was crossing against the pedestrian signal when he was struck, cops said.
Medics rushed him to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he died.
The driver fled the scene.
