A 32-year-old man who once did prison time for attempted murder was shot to death on a Brooklyn street, police said Tuesday.
Cleo Daniels was shot in the head on Bristol St. near Dumont Ave. in Brownsville about 8:35 p.m. Monday, cops said. NYPD officers on patrol heard shot fired and responded to the scene.
Medics rushed Daniels to Brookdale Univerisal Hospital, where he died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, police said. He lived in Bedford-Stuyvesant, according to cops.
At the scene, police recovered six 9mm bullets and nine shell casings.
There were no immediate arrests.
Daniels was conditionally released on parole in 2023 after serving four-and-a-half years in state prison for an attempted murder conviction in Brooklyn, public records show.
