Imagination, creativity and experimentation will all be cultivated at the OC Fair & Event Center’s upcoming Imaginology, a two-day festival of learning that is hosted each April at the fairgrounds.
The family event focuses on STEAM education, using demonstrations and hands-on activities to foster learning in science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
Community organizations and other exhibitors will be hosting activities for children of all ages such as engineering your own Lego bridge, making a chalk mural, exploring the science of water displacement and building robots, as well as demonstrations such as urban beekeeping, raising livestock and how to use a telescope.
The weekend will also feature cultural and educational performances including a bubble show, musical theater, a mariachi band and a teen pop-punk cover band.
There will also be competitions, food and more.
