ICE agents shoot man in Bronx

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents shot a man in an SUV on a New York City street Thursday as a 5-year-old boy sat in the vehicle’s backseat, sparking a heated confrontation between the feds and outraged citizens. One ICE agent fired seven rounds into the silver Honda Civic at about 4 p.m. on Marble Hill Ave. near W. 225th St. in the Bronx. More than 300 outraged New Yorkers held a protest at the scene, then marched to New York Presbyterian Allen Hospital, trapping ICE agents inside the building. Protesters grabbed metal barriers blocking off the street and charged a row of cops before the officers were able to pull the barriers away from them. At least three people were taken into custody at the hospital, the NYPD said.
