There were no signs of the lucky orange clutch as designer Jordyn Woods and Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns tied the knot in a star-studded Malibu weekend wedding — but it had apparently already done its part.
Just two months after the New York Knicks clinched their first NBA championship in 53 years, Towns wed his own lucky charm Saturday after six years together.
The longtime couple were married outdoors before dozens of A-list guests in a spot awash in white flowers and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, TMZ reported. A slew of Knicks teammates were there, including Jalen and Ali Brunson, OG Anunoby, and Josh and Shannon Hart, according to ESPN and Harper’s Bazaar. Also on hand were the likes of Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, Hailey and Justin Bieber, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor, Teyana Taylor, Gayle King and numerous others.

Woods’ business partner Adam Weitsman posted a shot of himself with Woods’s mother, Elizabeth Woods, in his Instagram stories, calling the pair “the best couple I know.” “Love Island” alums and exes Nicolas Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen ignited a bit of internet speculation by sitting together, several outlets noted.
Woods stunned in a custom, strapless, silk wool ballgown with full sweeping skirt and a draped bodice, topped by a floor-length veil, according to Vogue, which offered a peek at the bride’s final fitting. The dress was accented with lace, a feature that took over for Woods’s “second look” attire. That gown was also strapless, crafted with layers of Chantilly and elderflower lace sprinkled with hand-cut iris lace appliques, its form-fitting silhouette offering a Grecian feel, Vogue noted. A lace bolero lent a sleeve effect, at Woods’ request.
Woods, 28, and Towns, 30, were friends for years before becoming romantically involved in 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic. Towns popped the question on Christmas Eve last year.
The Woods-Towns union capped a summer chock full of NBA weddings, The New York Times noted.
