A baby star is born!
Lady Gaga and her fiancé Michael Polansky have welcomed their first baby together, People confirmed. Few other details were provided — the child’s gender, birth date, and name have not yet been revealed.
The “Abracadabra” singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, was first romantically linked to Polanksy back in 2020, during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. They quarantined together, with Gaga declaring Polanksy — executive director and cofounder of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy — the “love of her life” later that same year. She then revealed their engagement in 2024, during the Paris Olympics, where she repeatedly introduced Polansky as her fiancé.
The Grammy-winner went on to debut her massive ring at the 81st Venice Film Festival, which also marked their first red carpet appearance as a couple.
Throughout their relationship, Gaga has been open about her desire to become a mother. During a March interview with “Good Morning America,” the “Born This Way” singer revealed she wanted “marriage and kids more than anything” prior to meeting Polansky.
“We’d been talking for, like, three weeks on the phone every single day just getting to know each other, and Michael flew to Vegas when I was doing my show to take me on our first date,” she recalled.
“And before we even sat down, I said, ‘Do you want marriage and kids?’” she continued. “And he goes, ‘Yeah, I do.’ And I said, ‘Yeah, OK, great. Do you want some champagne?’”
In the same interview, Gaga also called herself a “family girl.”
