Sidney Starr from VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: New York” was booked in Georgia for sexual battery against a child, aggravated child molestation and sodomy on Sunday.
The reality TV personality, also known as Sidney Favors, confessed to performing oral sex on a minor at Hapeville hotel, according to TMZ.
CBS News identified the hotel as an Embassy Suites. Police provided no further information on the alleged incident.
Starr’s representative declined to comment.
The transgender model, who’s listed as a male in the Fulton County Jail inmate search engine, has acted in shows including “Boomerang” and “Empire,” according to IMDb. She once claimed to have had a romantic relationship with the rapper Chingy. Chingy said that false claim hurt his career. Starr apologized for starting that rumor in 2012, according to Complex.
The 37-year-old entertainer also appeared on the show “Baddies ATL” in 2021.
