A 53-year-old man was killed when the driver of a Chrysler sedan ran over him while he lay on a Manhattan roadway, cops said Wednesday.

The victim was standing at the corner of E. 127th St. and Second Ave. in East Harlem when he fell into the roadway shortly before 10:37 p.m. Monday, according to law enforcement.

As the victim lay on the roadway, he was run over by the 49-year-old driver of a 2009 Chrysler 300, cops said.

Medics rushed the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he died.

The driver did not realize he’d struck the man and left the scene, but was located later on E. 78th St. near First Ave. in the Upper East Side, said police.

Police are still investigating what caused the man to fall into the street.

There were no arrests.
