Masked man stabs man to death in Bronx street clash

A man died after he was viciously knifed in the neck by a masked man during a fight on a Bronx street early Friday, police said.

The unidentified victim, who is believed to be in his 40s, was nearing the corner of White Plains Road and E. 233rd St. in Wakefield at about 6:40 a.m. when the suspect, dressed all in black and wearing a black ski mask, began arguing with him.

The suspect stabbed the victim in the neck, cops said.

EMS rushed the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died. Cops were trying to identify the victim on Friday.

The stabber, who may be 6-foot-6 according to early radio transmissions about the crime, fled the scene on a moped.

No arrests have been made.

Detectives were scouring the area for surveillance footage, trying to determine where the stabber escaped to.
