The mother of a severely autistic man found dead with his neck and wrists slit at his family’s Queens home — who tried to commit suicide by leaping off a Van Wyck Expressway overpass hours before her son’s body was discovered — has been arrested for her son’s murder, cops said Thursday.
Suk Kuen Wong, 62, was charged with murder and aggravated criminal possession of a weapon for the fatal stabbing of her son Bryan Wong, whose body was discovered by his father on Oct. 14 — the victim’s 25th birthday.
Wong had gashes to the neck and wrists when his father found his son’s lifeless body lying on a pullout couch inside the living room of their single-family home on 59th St. near Laurel Hill Blvd. in Woodside around 9 a.m. Investigators recovered a knife from the living room and two more in the bathroom.
The city’s Medical Examiner ruled the victim’s death a homicide after determining Wong succumbed to stab wounds to his neck and torso.

About five hours before Bryan Wong’s body was discovered, his mother attempted suicide by throwing herself off the Van Wyck Expressway overpass onto Harper St., police said. She was found with fractures to her pelvis and femur, according to cops. Medics rushed her to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Queens prosecutors said Wong remained hospitalized Thursday. Her arraignment was pending.
A police source said investigators found a suicide note written by the mother, who was immediately suspected of potentially playing a role in his death.

“I would see the mother with her son, very tired and stressed out,” said Patricia Guevara, who lives down the street from the family.
“He wasn’t able to speak. He was only able to make grunting noises,” Guevara said about Wong. “She hardly took him out of the house. It’s terribly sad.”
Wong’s father shared a birthday with his son, turning 62 on the day he stumbled upon his son’s body.
