Murphy’s story: It’s hard to understand why Murphy hasn’t found a home of his own. He’s such a great dog, full of fun and lucky to be alive. In the shelter, he was kenneled with a dog who had deadly parvovirus. Had Murphy come down with parvo, he likely would not be here today. But, fortunately, he made it – turned out he had a cold from which he recovered. He loves to play with other dogs, go on long walks, have fun with toys, and romp in the grass. He has all the attributes of a friendly Lab without the size – he’s just 40 pounds. He would love an active family to call his own. He’s neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated, and he’s been treated for parasites.
