
A suspect has been arrested for the stabbing death of a homeless man during a fight in a Queens park, police said Thursday.
Abdullah Spencerel, 53, was arrested hours after the victim was knifed twice in the chest during a clash inside Major Mark Park in Jamaica about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, cops said.
The victim, who is believed to have been homeless, died at the scene near 87th Ave. and 173rd St. Cops are still trying to determine his identity.
Spencerel was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said. He lives in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, according to police.
The suspect’s arraignment was pending in Queens Criminal Court Thursday.
