A teenager was shot to death around the corner from his Brooklyn home, police said Thursday.
Jayden Velasquez, 18, was shot in his face and upper body on Havemeyer St. near S. 2nd St. in Williamsburg about 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.
Medics rushed him to Bellevue Hospital but he could not be saved.
The gunman, who was wearing a white tank top and dark-colored pants, ran from the scene and has not been caught.
Cops recovered multiple shell casings at the scene as they investigated.
