A woman was killed and a man critically wounded in a shooting at a Staten Island home Thursday morning, police said.
It wasn’t immediately clear if a shooter escaped or if the wounded man shot himself after shooting the woman.
Shots rang out in the house on Garth Court near Corona Ave. in Richmond about 11:10 a.m., cops said.
Police found a 39-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man both shot in the chest. A gun was recovered at the scene, police said.
Medics rushed both victims to Staten Island University Hospital North. The woman could not be saved while the man is in critical condition.
