A security guard was beaten, stabbed and pepper-sprayed after he attempted to break up an argument at a Bronx urgent care, cops said Monday.
The 21-year-old victim was attacked at a City MD Urgent Care located on E. 170th St. near Walton Ave. in Mount Eden around 2:30 p.m. on April 14, according to law enforcement officials.
His assailants — a man and a woman — had been arguing with each other, but attacked the guard after he attempted to intervene in the couple’s spat, police said. The pair stabbed him in the back with an unidentified sharp object and doused him in pepper spray, before punching and kicking him in the face, police said.
Medics transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
His attackers were last seen fleeing in white KIA SUV.
The NYPD released images of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help tracking them down.
