Michael Rubin is back with his White Party after taking a hiatus last year. The party — normally held on the 4th of July — has been moved to July 1st — presumably not to interfere with Taylor Swift’s and Travis Kelce’s wedding.

The Bridgehampton estate of Rubin looks to pack them in this year. On the guest list? Kim Kardashian, Tom Brady, Odell Beckham Jr, Mary J Blige and others.

Knicks celebrate

Fresh-off-the-title darlings Deuce McBride and Tyler Kolek swap confetti for ocean breezes at Montauk’s hot spot Bounce Beach.

Deuce jumped into the DJ booth and the place chanted “Deuceeee!” like it was Game 7 at the Garden. “EJ the DJ” spun Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” and it became a singalong. The champs cooled it down with a late bite at Talya, Montauk’s buzzy new Greek spot—because even legends need tzatziki after a night like that.

Hamptons White Party is back on this year, but was date moved because of Taylor Swift’s wedding?

Not to be outdone, Knick superfan Timothee Chalamet and girlfriend Kylie Jenner headed East after the Knicks victory, having gelato at Sant Ambroeus in East Hampton and shopping in Sag Harbor.

 Celebrating Rushdie

On Saturday, Guild Hall in East Hampton hosts one of the season’s most talked-about cultural events when Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney presents Knife: The Attempted Murder of Salman Rushdie, his powerful new documentary chronicling the celebrated author’s s recovery after the horrific 2022 knife attack that nearly claimed his life.

The screening is expected to draw a crowd of literary, artistic and philanthropic heavyweights,
with Hamptons Film Co-Chair Alec Baldwin joining Gibney and Hamptons Film Chief Creative Officer David Nugent for a post-screening conversation. Drawing from Rushdie’s  memoir Knife: Meditations After an Attempted Murder, the film incorporates intimate, never-before-seen footage captured by his wife, Rachel Eliza Griffiths, documenting his painful recovery and remarkable resilience.

Gibney, whose award-winning documentaries include Going Clear and Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, has crafted what insiders are already calling one of the year’s most emotionally powerful nonfiction films.

Walking tours

Southampton Village launches Historical Walking Tours, a self-guided app that allows visitors to walk through history and learn about the people and places of the town that dates back to the 1600s. Mayor Bill Manger said he wanted to loath this in celebration of the 250th Anniversary
of the country and even got local ex-news anchor Chuck Scarborough to narrate the tour.

Going Green

Southampton Arts Center secured a transformative $3.4 million contribution from The Paulson Family Foundation to reimagine the organization’s historic grounds, gardens and arboretum. The newly christened Paulson Family Gardens will officially debut during a grand opening
celebration on July 3 from 4 to 6 p.m., just in time for the Fourth of July holiday crowds.

The ambitious project features new lush new gardens, beautifully landscaped pathways and a new open-air performance space destined to become a coveted destination.
